About Eastern CateringOur HistorySince 1994, Eastern Catering have been providing high quality Halaal food, fresh, chilled or frozen, from ourtwo premises in Leicester. Our range of customers has grown considerably since this date, and our widemenu choice has extensively diversified. A growing nationwide reputation with our customers, as well as inlocal communities has built confidence in our products and improved uptake. In early 2007 we completedthe move to fully UK EC accredited manufacturing premises, dedicated to Halaal, Ethnic and Vegetariancuisines, in order to cater for the growing needs of our customers.Our ClientsThe majority of our business comes from our flexible contract free terms, supply of frozen meals to the NHS, local service providers and educational establishments. We serve our clients directly or through bulk frozenfood distributors.Our sister company can also provide catering services for weddings, banquets, and showpiece buffet eventsfor corporate and retail clients.Our Specialist MenuWe aim to provide as wide a menu as possible to the highest standard of excellence, using fresh and naturalingredients wherever possible, with price or quality not suffering as a consequence.You will find a comprehensive range of products in this brochure including Asian, African, Caribbean, Middle Eastern, English, European, Oriental meals, Speciality diets and accompaniments. Our recipes areauthentic, and we still cook in a traditional hand made manner giving that much needed authentic touch, rather than using bulk industrial preparation machinery. The fully microwaveable range of meals can also bere-heated in a steamer, electric or gas ovens. Weights stated are minimums and are normally exceeded todeliver a product second to none.The menu provides an extensive choice for a number of specialist diets. All our dishes are suitable for thoseobserving a Halaal diet - we only use UK EC approved meat suppliers who use a non stun slaughteringmethod, and observe strict guidelines and certification.
