It is a 100% export oriented unit. The company has a modern plant which has capacity of processing 7,000- 10,000 jars per hour. The plant is IFS and FSSC certified, both of which are international food safety certifications. The company exports gherkins and other vegetables in vinegar, acetic acid & brine to customers in Russia, Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, South Korea, USA, and other countries. The products are exported in glass jars, Tins and in carboys. Some of the customers are - SIENA (Australia), BROVER (France), LORADO(Germany), MADO(Belgium), IMPORT EXPRESS & LUTIK(Russia), GOOD DAY( Kazakhstan). Our products are sold in retail chains in many countries. The company also supplies pickled gherkins to Unilever.The company has grown consistently over a period of 17 years. The company has also won many awards for its export performance from the state government.The company has contract farming arrangement with around 3000farmers. Under this arrangement the company provides seed, fertilizer, pesticide and other inputs to the farmers, and buy gherkins, jalapeno, cherry tomato and other crops. With its own agriculture extension division, complete control on the quality and supply of the raw material has been achieved. This is one of the companys competitive advantage.As a part of expansion strategy Ken has entered in to the domestic market. The company has in-house product development department, which develops products for international customers.
