Electronics Consortium represents a consortium of existing small and mid-size contract electronics manufacturing service providers in India to offer the following contract electronic manufacturing services to North American clients at highly competitive prices: Printed Circuit Board (PCB) - Consortium service providers have capabilities to accommodate almost all types of printed circuit boards according to the specifications and standards dictated by the customers. Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Assembly - Service providers have the state-of-the art surface mount technologies and processes to assemble, test, and inspect completed boards to ensure flawless manufacturing. Final Product Assembly - Through our certified service providers, we offer final product assembly with system configuration and testing. Prototype - Service providers work closely with the customers at the prototype and pre-production stages to respond to the design changes and performance requirements. We also ensure a seamless transition from prototype to pre-production to full production. An EMS provider is required to adhere to strict quality and production standards and guidelines to become a member of the consortium and to maintain membership. Electronics Consortium coordinates all aspect of every order through the entire project cycle from definition to manufacturing/assembly via a group of service providers to shipment including quality management and status reporting.
