Nasir Leaf Tobacco Industries Ltd. is a tobacco leaf processing plant under Nasir Group of Industries of Bangladesh. The Group is engaged in manufacturing, marketing, distribution and export of Cigarette, handmade Cigarette (Biri), Process Tobacco, Melamine Tableware, Footwear, Float Glass, Glassware and Glass Tubes. Nasir Group started its journey as a tobacco trading house in early nineteen seventies. The Group set up its first factory to produce Biri (manually made cigarette) in late seventies. In early eighties it has set us Plastic, Melamine, Footwear industries. In 1997 the Group established its Cigarette factory and in 1999 Leaf Tobacco factory. In continuation the Group has set up two big industries one for Float Glass and another one for Glassware & Tube.Nasir Leaf Tobacco Industries Ltd. is a grower, processor, packer and exporter of different varieties of Bangladeshi tobacco. It has been catering the needs of many local cigarette manufacturers since 1999 and has been regularly exporting tobacco to USA, European and Asian markets since 2001. Nasir Leaf Tobacco Industries Ltd. is located in the hub of tobacco growing area named Allardorgah in Kushtia district of Bangladesh equipped with fully automated American machinery and testing laboratory. The factory built up on 627 decimal of land with production capacity of 2, 000 Tons per month. It processes and packs different varieties of tobacco in different forms. The varieties are flue cured - Burley, Dark Virginia, etc. and air cured - local name Jati, Talim, Motihar (Rustica), etc. in tangled whole leaf, butted, hand strips and threshed forms.
