Progressive AG International is an Export Company located in Southwest Georgia. We specialize in reconditioned peanut equipment. We export peanut seed, planters, sprayers, combines, shelling plants and peanut processingfacilities. Ourexpertiseis in peanuts. We simplyexport equipment that the US markets have out grown. The technology is not outdated rather our farm practices, harvest capacities and production capacities require larger output thus the need for bigger equipment. Additionally, we are an agricultural services provider focusing onincreasing yield and profitability in emerging markets through the transfer of appropriatetechnology, seed and equipment. We understand the need for capacity-building services.We have a strong understanding of the AG environment from field visits to Sub-Saharan Africa, including Kenya, Ghana and South Africa. We have learned that being able to buy a cash crop fromwhat is being grown is a missing link in most emerging and developing economies.We hope to replicate in Africa, a model of production-centered development, which has a proven track record in the American South.
