Traffic guardrail is a traffic safety facility set on the outside of the road shoulder, traffic divider and sidewalk curb and other locations. It absorbs the collision energy by deforming itself or climbing up the vehicle, thus changing the direction of the vehicle, preventing the vehicle from going off the road or entering the opposite lane, and minimizing the injury to the occupants.
