Quality Cores is a provider of sand shell cores to foundries. Cores are used in the foundry mold to make the openings and internal passageways in castings. Quality Cores can provide high quality shell cores of most any size and quantity. We specialize in making shell cores, and that is the only type of foundry core we make. This helps us maintain a low overhead and allows us to offer a lower cost per piece than other foundry core suppliers. We offer expertise with conventional two piece core box tooling and have extensive experience in making cores with intricate three piece tooling and have the equipment to run them. We have broad experience with special sands, additives, and core coatings to insure our cores produce defect free castings. In addition to one piece cores, we can paste and assemble cores. Refractory coatings can also be applied and dried. Delivery can be arranged by Quality Cores through many freight carriers offering competitive freight charges so you are assured of the lowest freight cost, or the foundry can coordinate the shipping. Dave Tellock founded Quality Cores in 2003 after many years of supervising shell, hotbox, and Isocure core making and dry sand, greensand, and no bake molding in numerous foundries in the Northern and Southeastern United States.
